VastPark Asset Publisher 0.9 - Public Alpha

Thanks for your interest in using the VastPark Asset Publisher. The Asset Publisher is intended mainly as a tool for professionals who have 3D models or other media content, scripts or widgets that they want to make available for creators who are building experiences with the VastPark platform.

The Asset Publisher allows you to describe the metadata related to media you have built and exported in runtime formats from your preferred tools (such as 3D Studio Max or Maya for 3D models). It then helps you upload your media to your Amazon S3 account and make it available in our Community Asset Index, so that users can discover the content.

Future versions of the Asset Publisher will allow you to preview your content before publishing and control the size, scale, physics and materials of the item that the end user will be given as default. There will also be further flexibility in storage provision, including FTP.

Requirements:
You need your own Amazon developer account for your Amazon S3 storage (http://aws.amazon.com). This is free to set up.
This version of the Asset Publisher does not have a user registration module, so you need to email us at team {at} vastpark.com and tell us your preferred publisher name. Once you’ve done this you can publish using the tool. This will be simpler in future versions.
The UI does not currently support permissions, so content you publish will be viewable by all VastPark users.
